Web design for Brisbane businesses.
Brisbane and South East Queensland have a lot of busy, growing small businesses. I build fast, clear Wix websites for them, with local search and enquiries in mind, working online from my Melbourne studio.

01
How Brisbane customers search
Brisbane is a city of distinct local pockets. People look for “plumber Indooroopilly”, “café West End” or “dentist Chermside”, and they tend to stay inside their own part of town. A website that says “Brisbane” once in the header and nothing else doesn’t tell Google, or a customer, where you actually work.
South East Queensland also stretches well beyond the city: Logan, Ipswich and Moreton Bay are big markets in their own right, and the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast each have their own search habits. I help you decide which areas you genuinely serve and describe them honestly, instead of claiming the whole region.

Local business types I see in Brisbane and South East Queensland
Trades are a big part of the market. Brisbane’s older timber homes, renovations and storm-season repairs keep builders, roofers, electricians, plumbers and landscapers busy, and a lot of their work starts with a phone search on a mobile. Those sites need a tap-to-call button, a simple quote form, the suburbs covered and real photos of finished jobs.
Hospitality and retail cluster in places like Fortitude Valley, Paddington, West End and Newstead, where a current menu, trading hours and an easy way to find the shop make the difference. Clinics and allied health practices across Chermside, Indooroopilly and the bayside need clear service pages and a booking path that works on a phone.

Working with me from Brisbane
I’m in Essendon, Melbourne, and I work with businesses across Australia. Queensland doesn’t use daylight saving, so Brisbane is one hour behind Melbourne from October to April and the same time for the rest of the year. I simply book calls at times that suit your trading hours.
The process is the same wherever you are: a free 15-minute call, a clear scope and fixed quote, a shared preview link while I build, and a proper handover so you can edit the site yourself. I’m on the phone and WhatsApp throughout, and I stay around after launch.
04
Getting your Brisbane business found
If you travel to your customers, set your Google Business Profile up as a service-area business, list the suburbs you cover and keep those suburbs consistent with your website. If customers come to you, your categories, photos, hours and reviews matter most.
On the site, I write one clear page for each main service, make the phone number impossible to miss, keep images light for mobile and set up Search Console so you can see what people are actually searching. It’s unglamorous work, and it’s the work that holds up over time.
05
Weather, seasons and sudden spikes in demand
Brisbane’s summer storms, heat and flooding events send demand to some businesses very quickly. Roofers, tree services, electricians, plumbers, air-conditioning installers and pest controllers can go from quiet to flat out after a single weather event. A website that’s easy to adjust helps you respond: a short banner for emergency call-outs, updated hours or a note about service areas.
I build trade sites so that kind of change takes minutes, not a booking with a developer. And I keep the phone number and quote form at the top, because that’s what people want during a rush.

Questions
Brisbane questions.
Do you work with businesses in Brisbane?
Yes. I’m based in Essendon, Melbourne, and work with businesses across Australia, including Queensland. Calls, video and WhatsApp keep it simple, and I schedule around your trading hours.
What’s the time difference between Brisbane and Melbourne?
Queensland doesn’t observe daylight saving. Brisbane is one hour behind Melbourne from October to April, and on the same time for the rest of the year.
I’m a tradie in Brisbane. What does my website need?
A tap-to-call button, a short quote form, the suburbs you cover, clear service pages and real photos of your work. Then a Google Business Profile set up to match.
Can you help with my Google Business Profile?
Yes. I can set it up or tidy it so your categories, service area, hours and website all line up, which helps your listing appear for local searches.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes. I build on Wix so you can change text, photos and offers without calling a developer, and I’ll walk you through it at handover.
