Professional services

Web design for professional services.

Clients choose accountants, bookkeepers, lawyers and consultants on trust. I build clear, credible websites that explain what you do, who you do it for and how to take the first step, without jargon or stock-photo handshakes.

What it needs

What the site needs.

  • A clear statement of who you help
  • One page per main service
  • Team profiles with real names
  • Simple enquiry and booking paths
  • Blog or resources section you can update
  • Privacy page and short, careful forms

02

Credibility in the first few seconds

A prospective client usually compares a few firms before making contact. They’re looking for signs that you’re real, experienced and easy to deal with: a clear description of who you help, a team page with real names and faces, a physical location or service area and straightforward ways to get in touch.

I build those signals into the site without turning it into a brochure. Plain headings, readable text and an obvious “book a call” or “send an enquiry” path do more than clever design.

03

Service pages that match how people search

People rarely search “accountant”. They search “tax return for sole traders”, “BAS lodgement help”, “will and estate planning” or “business advice for startups”. A separate page for each main service lets you speak to that specific need, and gives Google a clear reason to show you for it.

I help you work out the services worth a page, write them in plain English and link them together so visitors can move naturally from a question to an enquiry.

04

Content that shows you know your field

A short, useful article answers a question your clients keep asking and demonstrates your approach. I set up the blog structure on Wix so you or your team can publish easily, and I can advise on topics that match real searches. Wording around advice or outcomes should be checked against any advertising rules that apply to your profession.

05

Privacy and enquiries

Enquiry forms should collect only what you need to reply. I keep them short, set up a clear privacy page and avoid asking for sensitive details through a general form. Where a client portal or secure document exchange is needed, we link to the system you already use rather than building something fragile.

06

Writing a team bio people actually read

Most bios read like a CV. The ones that work say who you help, what you’re good at and what it’s like to work with you, in a few short lines. Real photos beat stock, and a sentence about the kinds of problems you enjoy solving goes a long way.

I’ll help you draft and tighten these, so the team page builds trust instead of just listing qualifications.

Related work

What I’ve built.

illumex supplies industrial printers to other businesses, so the site explains the technology, the printer range and the industries it serves in plain language, a similar job to explaining a professional service.

Questions

Good to know.

Can you build a site for a small accounting or bookkeeping practice?

Yes. Most are a handful of clear pages: services, about, contact and a few helpful articles. We can add more as the practice grows.

Can clients book a call from the website?

Yes. I can add a booking button linked to your calendar tool or set up Wix bookings.

Do I need a blog?

Not necessarily, but a few good articles can help you show up for real questions clients ask. I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth it for your practice.

Do you work with firms outside Melbourne?

Yes. I’m based in Essendon and work with businesses across Australia, entirely online and by phone.

Ready to go a bit wild?
